The first May Half Term activity on our list is an experience which will leave the whole family chuckling. The comedic duo that is Dick and Dom will appear live with their stage adaptation of Dick and Dom in da Bungalow. Expect all their usual silliness and joking, along with the very popular BOGIES! challenge. The audience is split in half and each side will battle it out with songs, games and a whole host of fun activities.

Holidaymakers visiting Looe Bay, White Acres or St. Minver will be pleased to hear that the stunning Eden Project is less than a 40-minute drive away. Dick v Dom is only one element of the Eden Project to enjoy. The awe-inspiring museum is a collection of domes housing different climates, along with an amazing array of plants. There’s even England’s longest zip wire and a rainforest canopy walkway – what more can you want from a day out?!
Mildred's Magnificent Messy Fete, BeWILDerwood

Mildred the Crocklebog of BeWILDerwood needs your help this May Half Term! Help her wake up the bugs by dancing, whirling and twirling around the maypole. This unique event brings mayhem and fun with games and fete style activities to put smiles on little faces.
If that’s not enough, the beautiful woods are just waiting to be explored and there’s so much to discover. Enjoy face painting, crafts, storytelling, zip wires and a whole lot more!

Little Inventors Takeover, Woodhorn Colliery

Children will love the next event at Woodhorn Museum and Northumberland Archives. The team at Woodhorn invite you to join them for their Little Inventors Takeover! From learning about energy to drawing up your own invention ideas and bringing them to life with a prototype model, this event is educational yet fun.
Also at Woodhorn Museum, visitors can explore Coal Town – an interactive exhibition which begins in 1918 and takes you through the story of Northumberland’s coal mining. Visitors to Church Point, Sandy Bay and Cresswell Towers can all access Woodhorn in less than 10-minutes. There’s always something to keep the kids busy at Woodhorn, whatever the weather!
Captain Henry Morgan's Pirate Weekend, Tredegar House

Calling all pirates! Captain Henry Morgan has just returned from one of his latest quests and is inviting you to join him at Tredegar House for celebratory antics. The Captain needs all hands on deck as you plonk the pirate, walk the plank and sing some of his favourite sea shanties.

This annual celebration offers a whole host of pirate-themed activities at the historic house and gardens, perfect for a family day out. Visitors of Trecco Bay Holiday Park can reach Tredegar House with a 40 minute drive.
Wild West Week, Blackgang Chine

Howdy! If you’re looking for a rootin’-tootin’ good time this half term there’s lots going on at Cowboy Town. Meet the cowboys and learn some moves with the Wild West Dance Workshops, before trying to beat the score on the popular Bucking Bronco.
You can get to Wild West Week at Blackgang Chine within just 20 minutes if you’re travelling from Lower Hyde Holiday Park and enjoy a variety of live shows, stunts and workshops – you’ll not want to miss out!
