Parkdean Resorts UK Holiday Parks

Welcome to Parkdean Resorts' Apprenticeship College

Whatever your age, level of experience, or job role - if you've got the passion, we've got the training for you.

Our programmes have been designed to get the best out of our people, and develop their knowledge, skills and behaviours in their work role at whatever level they are working at. They'll also help to provide life skills such as English, Maths and Communication alongside a greater understanding of challenges we face and differences that we celebrate through topics such as equality, diversity & inclusion, safeguarding and British values.

Gaining an apprenticeship qualification is something that you should not only be proud of but also shout about. People think an apprenticeship is aimed at young people just starting out in the world of work, this couldn’t be further from the truth. You can study for an apprenticeship qualification at any age - the only barrier is your commitment and determination to succeed.

Build Your Future

An apprenticeship qualification is made up of two distinct sections:

1. On-Programme phase

2. End Point Assessment (EPA)

Apprenticeships in the workplace start at Level 2 (GCSE equivalent) and go on to Level 7 (Honours degree equivalent) and are provided internally by the Parkdean Resorts Talent Development team.

To start an apprenticeship with Parkdean Resorts, you’ll need to be:

  • Aged 16 or over
  • Living in England at time of application and applying for a role at one of our parks located in England*
  • Not in full-time education or have previously completed an apprenticeship or qualification in your desired specialism at a level above the Parkdean Resorts apprenticeship for which you are applying

Please note that we do not offer on-site accommodation options for apprenticeship roles and an ability to commute to and from the relevant Parkdean Resorts location at any time between 07.00 and 23.00, 7 days a week (as shift requirements dictate), is essential.

Kitchen Academy

Parkdean Resorts amazing Kitchen Academy programme will help our junior chefs to apply highly methodical organisational skills, energy, accuracy, attention to detail and mindfulness to the importance of sustainability and care for the environment. The programme will also explore deeper into the dishes we offer including key nutrient groups, their function and sources along with the scope and methods of adapting dishes to meet specific dietary, religious and allergenic needs of our guests.

The apprenticeship and kitchen teams also assist in preparing our kitchen team members for the next steps in their career by shining a spotlight on the benefits of effective communication, the part their service plays into overall guest experience and their individual role in upholding Parkdean Resorts vision, values, objectives and reputation as the UK's largest holiday park operator.

Leadership Academy

Parkdean Resorts' Leadership Academy programme is designed for Head of Departments on park or any team member wishing to develop to become a Head of Department. This programme can be tailored to suit a leader of almost any on-park department and is aimed at providing and/or improving the knowledge, skills and behaviours to develop, manage and run a successful team and improve departmental results.
