Camber Sands Holiday Park was delighted to welcome Sally-Ann Hart, MP for Hastings and Rye, for a visit to the park last week.

Camber Sands is one of our Parks of the Future, and we have invested more than £5m over the last two years, installing new caravans and luxury lodges, renovating chalets and bungalows, and introducing exciting new activities including a High Ropes Course, Virtual Reality Experience, Indoor Climbing Wall, Sports Dome, Outdoor Gym Trail, Dog Agility Course and an Arts and Crafts Den. Sally-Ann’s wide-ranging visit took in all of these new activities, as well as new retail and food and drink facilities, including the new Thunderbird Fried Chicken outlet, which opened earlier this year.

The park employs almost 200 people in season, the majority living in the local area, and Sally-Ann was particularly interested to hear about our involvement in the Kickstart scheme, which gives young people a unique opportunity to launch a new career within the hospitality industry at our parks.

As usual, the park has been fully-booked throughout the summer holidays, and bookings continue to be strong through the autumn as people enjoy a well-deserved staycation on the beautiful Sussex coast. We’re proud of the role the park plays in supporting the local economy, and look forward to working closely with Sally-Ann in the coming years to continue to benefit the constituency of Hastings and Rye.
