From family friendly beach festivals to marathons, there's something for everyone and it's never too early to start your activity planning for next year. Sandford Scooter Rally
4-7th March 2022
With lots of fantastic entertainment including live music, fancy dress and of course, lots of scooters, this exciting rally isn't an event to miss. Sandford Holiday Park is host to this great event on a yearly basis and we can't wait to welcome guests in 2022. This event is held over 3 nights and you can expect a thoroughly good time from start to finish. The holiday park was recently renovated and now offers brand new outstanding facilities and accommodation for all the family. There are luxury lodges, caravans, glamping or touring and camping to choose from, meaning you can enjoy this event whatever your budget! Isle of Wight Festival
17th-19th June 2022
Venture to this beautiful isle where you can see live music and enjoy the festivities - the fabulous Isle of Wight Festival is a huge hit every year with all ages. There are always plenty of big names lined up and lots of other entertainment to make it a fun filled weekend to remember. Not only this, but we have 4 different holiday parks on the Isle of Wight with lots of impressive facilities and activities for all of the family to enjoy. Make sure you book your tickets as soon as they go on sale for this event as it's enormously popular and has been known to sell out quickly!
GoldCoast Oceanfest
17th-19th June 2022
Oceanfest is back for 2022 and is more exciting than ever with a huge mix of music, beach sports, surfing and plenty of family friendly fun. The award winning Oceanfest takes place on an annual basis at Parkdean Resorts’ Croyde Bay Beach, which is right on the doorstep of Ruda Holiday Park in Devon. People love this action packed festival so much that a large proportion of the tickets are bought before the line-up has even been announced! The festival is just the right size for a great atmosphere but not so big that it's overwhelming. Round the Island Race
25th June 2022
Round the Island Race is an annual event which sees lots of eager participants sail around the Isle of Wight together. Being one of the biggest yacht races, it attracts sailors from all over the globe to compete. The race starts and finishes at Cowes and there'll be over a thousand yachts in the race. During the race, you'll be able to see the beautiful scenes the island has to offer, including the Needles and St. Catherine's Point. Everyone from beginners to professional sailors can join in with the race, so don't worry if you're new to sailing!
If sailing isn't your thing, you can still come along for the atmosphere at the finish line or check out some of the best spectator spots on the island. We've got you covered for accommodation too, as we have 4 holiday parks on the Isle of Wight, offering a range of beautiful lodges and caravans to choose from.
Bestival

Bestival 2022 is due to return to Lulworth Estate so grab your wellies and head to stunning Dorset for 4 days of family fun. Each year, Bestival brings a fantastic line up of acts as well as lots of tasty food stalls and, of course, face painting. Get ready for some awesome festival vibes and a weekend to remember! Both Warmwell and Sandford Holiday Parks are great options to stay at over the Bestival weekend, with excellent facilities for all of the family. Both parks offer a range of accommodation including caravans and lodges. If you want to have the full festival experience, we also offer glamping or touring and camping options too.
Cowes Week
30th July - 5th August
Cowes Week is one of the biggest and oldest sail boat races in the world and it brings thousands of participants and spectators to the Isle of Wight every year. You can look forward to not only an exciting race but live music, delicious food and open air bars. If you love sailing or just fancy a week of island sun, get booked up in 2022 for a week to remember. We have 4 brilliant holiday parks on the Isle of Wight but make sure you book early as Cowes Week tends to sell out quickly.
Looe Live Festival
16th-18th September 2022
Looe Live Festival is one of Cornwall's most popular festivals. This award winning event takes place in the beautiful seaside town of Looe and brings live music, fantastic entertainment and plenty of culture for all the family to enjoy. The festival takes place on Looe Beach which is just 2 miles away from Looe Bay Holiday Park making it an ideal place to stay. The holiday park offers a range of different accommodation from luxury lodges to caravans.
Great North Run
11th September 2022
The Great North Run is the UKs favourite, biggest and best run and it's a great day to get involved in, whether you're a runner or a spectator. Many people choose to run this race for charity which makes it super fun with lots of people dressed up in unique and interesting costumes. The 13.1 mile race begins in Newcastle City Centre and ends in South Shields. Come and stay at our Whitley Bay Holiday Park if you plan to get involved with this great event - There are great transport links to both Newcastle City Centre as well as South Shields. Make the most of a 3, 4 or 7 night stay and see some wonderful sights, enjoy the beach and of course, all of our on park facilities, activities and live entertainment.
Tour de Yorkshire

The Tour De Yorkshire is one of the biggest road cycling events in the UK and attracts millions of spectators. Anyone is welcome to take part in this event, whether you're a professional cyclist or a novice. It's been going since 2015 and really is a brilliant event, whether you're cycling or supporting. It brings a great atmosphere to beautiful Yorkshire and is a great day out for the family. An ideal place to stay if you're planning to get involved is Cayton Bay Holiday Park as it's just a stone's throw away from the action! Goodwood Festival of Speed

The event takes place at Goodwood House in West Sussex.
