Pet Friendly Travel Tips
Before long car journeys
Try to fit in a good walk with your dog before you set off. It will burn off energy and encourage them to sleep in the car. It also gives them a chance to go to the bathroom before setting off.
Getting used to new surroundings
Unfamiliar places can make a dog feel anxious. Calm them down by laying out some familiar items in your accommodation, such as their favourite chew toy and blanket.
On the road
Dogs get car sick too. Avoid feeding them rich food before hitting the road. If your dog is used to being crated, it's a good idea for them to travel in their crate, keeping them calm and safe.
