Reviews from guests with dogs

"10/10!!! Perfect location, just ten minutes drive, in any direction takes you to the all 'big' villages & towns. The park itself, it's laid out nice, very easy to find your lodge again! The lodge itself was spotless, lovely comfy beds, warm bedding and plenty of towels and the kitchen was well stocked. The Haybarn and it's staff are excellent! Special thanks to them all. It was great being able to take the dog in, it really made our holiday! The food was gorgeous and value for money. We weren't expecting to eat out every night but we did! I honestly can't find fault!"

Sarah, Limefitt Holiday Park

"Wonderful five days in a lovely caravan with two dogs. Pleased to find we were along the back edge of the park with a gate to a footpath which led in both directions. We were up at 6.30 every morning to head the short walk to the dog friendly part of the sands. Will certainly be booking again in the future."

Rosemary, Camber Sands Holiday Park

"We were up for a week, had the best holiday, we had the dog with us and she loved the beach. There is also an amazing walk from the park into Nairn, so much to do, the kids loved it. Definitely going to go back."

Travelling with your dog

We know travel can be stressful on your pets, especially if they're not used to car journeys or visiting new places. We've pulled together some handy tips and FAQs to make your first holiday with your dog relaxed and easy.

Before long car journeys

Fit in a good walk with your dog before you set off. It will burn off energy and encourage them to sleep in the car. It also gives them a chance to go to the bathroom.

On the road

Dogs get car sick too. Avoid feeding them rich food before hitting the road. If your dog is used to being crated, it's a good idea for them to travel in their crate, keeping them calm and safe.

Getting used to new surroundings

Unfamiliar places can make a dog feel anxious. Calm them down by laying out their favourite blanket and toys.

Dogs deserve a holiday, too

Don't just take our word for it. We teamed up with dog behaviour expert Graeme Hall, aka 'The Dogfather' to discover why dogs need a break just as much as their owners.

According to Graeme: “For dogs there’s nothing like a holiday to create a feeling of wellbeing. Dogs pick up on our moods, so spending time with them on holiday when we’re relaxed, helps them to relax too.”

Rules on park

We want you to have fun creating amazing memories with your family and friends, including those with four legs! And while we're certainly not going to spoil the fun, for the safety and enjoyment of other guests on park, there are a few rules which must be adhered to when holidaying with your pet.

  • With the exception of designated dog walking areas, all dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and under the control of a responsible adult
  • Dogs must wear a collar and ID tag at all times
  • Please make sure you clean up after your dog - both on park and out-and-about
  • With the exception of assistance dogs, dogs must not enter any of the park's facilities or children's play areas
  • With the exception of assistance dogs, your dog should not enter other holiday homes not designated as pet friendly - or an additional cleaning charge may be applied
  • Please note, some breeds of dog, including those listed on the Dangerous Dogs Act are not allowed on park
