About Skegness

The traditional home of the great British seaside holiday, Skegness is famed for its bright lights, Blue Flag beach and nostalgic amusements. Here the kids can discover all the classics; donkey rides, arcades and candyfloss on the promenade.

They’ll love the Victorian pier here too, with its atmospheric laser quest arena, ten-pin bowling alley and huge indoor soft play. If they still have energy to burn, visit Fantasy Island. Older kids will get a kick out of white-knuckle rides like the Volcano and the Odyssey, while SeaQuarium and the Jets offer gentle thrills for tots.

Complementing the resort’s bounty of seaside attractions, are a range of museums, theatres and wildlife sights. Natureland Seal Sanctuary helps injured seals to recuperate and is a home for jackass penguins, meerkats and crocodiles. The lagoons, ponds and marshes of nearby Gibraltar Point are perfect for wildlife encounters too – including skylark and snipe.
