About Llandudno
This elegant resort was the place to holiday in Victorian times, and today Llandudno continues to be a firm favourite of families. The town’s history has gifted it with many majestic buildings and vintage seaside sights. Not least of which is the pier - the longest one in Wales!
Stroll along its wooden-slatted walkway to discover all the classics, including retro fairground rides, pier fishing and arcades. Or simply flop onto a bench, tuck into some ice cream and soak up panoramic views of the town’s golden beach and regal promenade beyond.
For the finest vistas, however, you need to go up Great Orme, a limestone headland that towers over Llandudno and features a vast wilderness of diverse nature-filled ecosystems. To reach the summit, simply ride the resort’s famous tram or cable car and enjoy incredible scenes of Snowdonia, the bay and the Irish Sea beyond.
