About Milford Haven

Situated against one of the world’s deepest natural harbours, Milford Haven is certainly a seafaring place. Its history has often been colourful, with links to the American Revolution, Quakers and whaling; which you can explore at the museum in the town’s characterful old whale oil building.

But there are some shining new sights here too! The redeveloped waterfront has a selection of good eateries, including chic restaurants, cafes and traditional fish & chip shops – many of which have soothing marina views. Close by you’ll find the fantastic Torch Theatre, which hosts an eclectic mixture of touring productions and also doubles as a cinema.

With its position on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, Milford Haven has beautiful views of the estuary too. The nearby beach of Sandy Haven is ideal for soaking up the scenery – just be sure to check the tide times to avoid a long walk back to your car!
