Fans of cycling will be excited to hear that one of the UK’s biggest road races take place over the first weekend in May 2019. The four-day event covers over 600 miles in total, with a four-day course for men and two-day course for women. 

Over 2 million people are expected to come and watch the race, with an influx of big names and cycling celebrities on the journey.

About the Tour de Yorkshire

The Tour de Yorkshire is a road cycling race in Yorkshire, which started in 2015. The event is rated as a 2.1 event as part of the UCI Europe Tour and welcomes millions of spectators to the region each year. This year, the event will take place from 2-5 May, taking in eight start and finish location.

What's On

One of the UK’s biggest road cycling race, The Tour de Yorkshire. The event welcomes millions of spectators to the region each year. Professional cyclists and budding novices are welcomed to take part in the race, which passes through several key places in Yorkshire including the market town of Beverley, the seaside resort of Scarborough and Leeds city centre.
