When it comes to choosing the perfect place to take the kids on a weekend break, it’s best to pick somewhere that has lots of activities and local attractions nearby to keep them busy. The best thing about holiday parks is that you have everything your family will need for an amazing holiday within walking distance. We've picked out some of our best holiday parks for inspiration of where to venture with the family this year. We've also got some great Tot's Breaks on offer too which are tailor made for families with children under 5. The parks we have chosen include locations which have been part of our recent £70 million investments, meaning lots of brand new on park activities and facilities for our guests to enjoy.

 

 

1. Warmwell Holiday Park, Dorset

Warmwell Holiday Park makes for a great adventure for the kids. Nestled in the woodlands and set by a pretty lake you can expect to see all kinds of wildlife. After undergoing a £2.5 million investment, when it comes to activities and facilities, this park has them in abundance. From the Clip n Climb wall and the high ropes course, to a massive dry ski slope, it’s impossible to run out of fun things to get involved with at Warmwell Holiday Park. There’s also lots of things to see nearby such as the stunning Jurassic Coastline and fabulous local towns. There’s plenty of beaches and boat trips to take the kids on too. Dorset is home to the world’s largest ape rescue centre, Monkey World as well as Weymouth Sea Life Adventure Park.

 

The park has its own Jurassic themed crazy golf course for all of the family to enjoy. Once you’ve worked up an appetite, you can visit our brand new outdoor canopy to dine and drink before trying out the new virtual reality experience area. Another new feature kids will love is the self-serve ice cream station where they can indulge in a tasty treat. The brand new on park sports dome is where families can visit to take part in exciting activities such as hoverboarding, archery, laser tag and there’s even an interactive wall in there too.

 

2. Cayton Bay Holiday Park, Yorkshire

After receiving a £4.3 million investment this year, Cayton Bay Holiday Park is ready for the 2021 season and is looking better than ever! With brand new luxury accommodation and fabulous new facilities, the whole family is sure to thoroughly enjoy a weekend break at this park. There’s so much to do at Cayton Bay Holiday Park, your itinerary will be jam packed. This park has a brand new high ropes course and bungee trampolines, along with a new sports dome and Arts and Crafts Den. The indoor swimming pool has slides, fountains and flumes to make a splash and the fun filled arcade provides unlimited enjoyment. The park has undergone an exciting make over, preparing it for outdoor dining and entertainment for the warmer days and evenings.

 

Kids will love the new virtual reality experience, pirate crazy golf and adventure play area. Even our furry friends have fabulous holidays at Cayton Bay Holiday Park, with our brand new woof park where dogs can play and enjoy themselves too. Don’t forget to get the kids involved in Base Camp during your visit, where they can experience the Bear Grylls Survival Academy as well as Outdoor N Explore. If they’re still looking for things to do, we’ve got hoverboards, laser tag, mini dronez, hover archery, pottery painting, make a bear, sand art and lots more to keep them busy. Get around the park in style on a family kart or hire bikes for a bit of extra fun.

 

3. Sandford Holiday Park, Dorset

Having had £3.8 million invested, Sandford Holiday Park is looking fabulous and brimming full of action packed activities and entertainment for children to enjoy. Not only has this park had its facilities revamped but Sandford Holiday Park has also introduced glamping for the first time. Glamping is a huge hit with kids and will give your break an exciting twist which they’ll love. Glamping isn’t the only new accommodation we have either, there’s also brand new luxury lodges if you’re looking to holiday in style.

 

Aside from the impressive new glamping area and lodges, at Sandford Holiday Park, you'll also find a new look outdoor pool and the all popular Jurassic themed golf course, along with a new high ropes course, sports dome, virtual reality experience and Arts and Crafts Den. We’ve made the bar and restaurant area even better, adding an outdoor canopy and entertainment area so the kids can enjoy the sun while the family dine. This park is filled with activities including bungee trampolines, pottery painting, hoverboards, high ropes and lots more so the children will never run out of exciting things to do. 4. Trecco Bay, Wales

Trecco Bay Holiday Park is one of the UKs largest parks and it’s definitely a child-friendly favourite. Visiting this park in the warmer months is great for kids as there’s a big outdoor wet play zone for them to cool off while enjoying the sunshine. There’s also an outdoor adventure play area and an ice cream station. The park has two beautiful blue flag beaches right on its doorstep which the kids will love too. Trecco Bay Holiday Park has had £3.6 million invested in it recently, making it an even more ideal holiday destination for families with children. The park now has a brand new sports dome where kids can enjoy all of their favourite sporting activities, along with an Arts and Crafts Den where they can get creative with pottery painting and lots more.

 

The Next Level Gaming Arena is certainly not an experience to miss this year, especially if your kids love gaming. We have all of the latest consoles and most popular games for them to spend hours playing. The Base Camp is another great feature at Trecco Bay Holiday Park where children are taught survival skills and will get the chance to explore the outdoors. We have erected an outdoor climbing wall, as well as a brand new high ropes course, which all of the family can get involved with. Finally when you’re done with your busy day full of activities, relax and enjoy a bite to eat, watching the sun go down over the new outdoor canopy area, while taking in some of the impressive live entertainment.

 

5. Camber Sands Holiday Park, Sussex

With the beach nearby and £3 million worth of brand new on park activities and facilities for 2021, Camber Sands Holiday Park makes for a great weekend away for families with kids. This park has 4 indoor pools with a splash zone and flumes along with an indoor climbing wall, high ropes and an ice cream station. This park has been transformed into a holiday paradise that kids will thoroughly enjoy, with endless activities in the new sports dome and Arts and Crafts Den. Hire bikes or a family kart to get around the park and enjoy the new look Fish and Chippery, as well as the new outdoor canopy where you can dine in the sunshine. From hoverboards to laser tag, this park is full of fun and excitement to fill your weekend break with the kids.

 

Camber Sands Holiday Park is located right opposite a beautiful 7 mile beach, ideal for days out with the kids. Other nearby attractions include the Action Watersports waterpark, Lydd Kart Circuit, Dymchurch Amusement Park and of course, the fabulous Brighton Beach Pier. If the on park high ropes course wasn’t enough, there’s also a Go Ape nearby and if you’ve got little animal lovers, then Port Lympne Reserve and Knockhatch Adventure Park are close by too.

 

6. Ty Mawr Holiday Park, Wales

If you’re looking for a holiday full of action packed adventure with the kids then Ty Mawr Holiday Park in Wales could be your ideal destination this year. Surrounded by breath taking beaches and nearby Snowdonia National Park, this park is situated perfectly to experience an unforgettable holiday. We’ve recently invested £1.8 million on this park and it shows! Discover the brand new on park facilities including a high ropes course, sports dome, interactive wall, ice cream station, woof park, Arts and Crafts Den, virtual reality experience and soft play. Ty Mawr Holiday Park also has a heated indoor swimming pool, waterslide, mini golf, an adventure playground, amusement arcade and lots more exciting things for kids to enjoy.

Snowdonia being close by is a perfect opportunity to explore the mountains, golden beaches, woodland and peaceful rivers. Bounce Below is a unique underground trampoline experience where kids and adults can bounce in the depths of a huge cave. 7. Lizard Point Holiday Park, Cornwall

In 2020 we invested over £1.8 million in Lizard Point Holiday Park to make the facilities on offer even more fantastic. This is a lively holiday park and situated on the stunning Lizard Peninsula, surrounded by beaches, making it an ideal destination to take the kids. Explore hidden caves, famous landmarks and nearby attractions. There are over 30 exciting activities on park so families with children are never short of things to do. You can challenge yourself on the high ropes or make a splash in one of the indoor or outdoor pools. The kids will love the new Arts and Crafts Den where they can get creative, painting pots and more.

 

The park has plenty of new facilities ideal for children, including pirate themed crazy golf, a sports dome, a virtual reality experience, an ice cream station and lots more. Once done with all the excitement, dine outdoors and enjoy some fabulous outdoor entertainment, under the new outdoor canopy. The family can hire bikes to venture around the local area or even a family kart to get around the park.
