Bear Grylls Survival Academy
Bear Grylls Survival Academy gives you the chance to explore the great outdoors through a series of activities that teaches them how to survive in the wild. The session content has been designed by Bear to ensure all priorities are delivered exactly how he would do it himself.

Will you take up Bear's challenge?
We have two missions on offer for you to complete, you will learn some fantastic survival skills along the way!
BGSA: Shipwrecked
You have become shipwrecked on a desert island after a terrible storm! In order to succeed you must successfully complete each section of this mission. Your team must collect one of Bear’s unique medals before you can move onto the next section of your mission. Will you be a standout participant and be awarded a medal of your own?!
Protection
Protection is crucial to surviving in the wild. You will learn how to blend into your environment with camouflage and how to build a suitable shelter to protect you from the terrain.
Rescue
Can you master Bear’s Commando Crawl technique? Learn how to navigate difficult surroundings all whilst being blindfolded – all vital in a successful rescue mission.
Water
Race against fellow team members to retrieve the key but try not to get wet along the way!
Food
Learn the final part of survival – have a go at lighting a fire to keep yourself warm. Hungry? Why not try some of the weird and wonderful things Bear himself has eaten, will you be brave enough?

Family Survival Mission
You and your family are on your summer holiday exploring an exotic island, but the tide has come in and you’ve lost your way back! Have you and your family got what it takes to find your way back to mainland? Work as a family unit to accomplish the tasks! If you make it, you’ll earn a family certificate for your honour!
SO, YOU'RE IN A SPOT OF TROUBLE...
Well, you aren't the first and you sure won't be the last. Ok, first things first: relax. Take a deep breath, keep a clear head and get your priorities right. Think before you act.
The phrase I use to remind myself is: Please Remember What's First: PROTECTION, RESCUE, WATER and FOOD. These are the absolute basics you need to survive. And survival needs to become your number one goal.

Bear Grylls Survival Academy is suitable for children 8 years or older. Please note, you must be a guest staying on park to book and participate in the activities.
Will Bear Grylls be running the activities I book?
Bear Grylls won’t be on park or running the activities. However, his team of highly trained instructors have just what it takes to teach you practical skills that will allow you to survive in the wilderness like Bear.
