Parkdean Resorts are delighted to be working with the Department of Work and Pensions on the Kickstart scheme, giving young people a unique opportunity to launch a new career within the hospitality industry at our parks.
Our HR Director, Lisa Charles-Jones spoke with The Caterer for their October issue, which also features a case study of twenty-year-old Jonas Putna, one of eleven young people placed at our Looe Bay Holiday Park through the Kickstart scheme this summer.
Lisa says that there are so many enthusiastic and young people looking for companies to give them a chance. These young people need support to help build their confidence, which is provided by our committed and dedicated teams on park.
We’ve been really impressed by the calibre of people that Job Centre Plus have matched us with, and we’re confident that some of these new recruits can become leaders in our business in the future.
