As reported in Devon Live on 7 April 2020, Parkdean Resorts donated £2,050 worth of food to Barnstaple Food Bank, North Devonshire Hospice, North Devon Freedom Centre, Caen School and Ivybridge Food Bank.

Following Government instruction to shut the holiday parks, the teams at Bideford Bay, Ruda Bay and Challaborough Bay holiday parks donated essential resources to those in need as a result of the Coronavirus. As the parks were preparing for a busy Easter holiday before having to close, they had full stocks of fresh items which they didn’t want to go to waste.

As featured in the Eastern Daily Press on 28 March 2020, other teams at our Cherry Tree, Vauxhall, California Cliffs, Summerfield and Kessingland holiday parks also donated food worth £1,200 to community groups amid the coronavirus lockdown.

Other Parkdean Resorts holiday parks up and down the country also donated household items like toilet rolls, antibacterial spray and blue roll to schools and GP/medical facilities, as well as food banks.
