We couldn't do it without you
We are very lucky that our parks are located at the heart of 67 vibrant coastal and rural communities, the length and breadth of the UK. These communities help Parkdean Resorts to thrive. From the teams that work on park, to the local suppliers who we rely on day-in, day-out - we simply couldn’t deliver over 2 million holidays a year without them.
That’s why we introduced Footprints. It's our way of giving something back to the 9,000 amazing people who work in our team and the communities who support us every day. Our aspirations for the sector are focused on helping it innovate and become sustainable for generations to come.
The simple model we follow is made up of three elements:
- Our footprints: The actions we are taking to reduce our impact on the environment, provide a sustainable service to our guests and deliver a safe and rewarding workplace.
- Community footprints: We are intertwined in the 67 communities in which our parks are located, so we will deliver support where it will make a lasting impact.
- Future footprints: Our ambitious, long-term plan to innovate and invest in the future of UK holiday parks.
Our Armed Forces Partnerships
In 2021 we will gift the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity over 75 holiday breaks at ten of our parks. The Royal Navy awards them to deserving Armed Forces personnel and their families, for the extraordinary sacrifices and support they provide whilst their spouses/partners and loved ones are deployed around the globe. The breaks aim to recognise families that may have gone or are going through difficult times and could benefit from time away together as a family.
As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the Armed Forces and their families, we are proud to play an active part in the Armed Forces Covenant's employer recognition scheme. Through our partnership with the Armed Forces Covenant, we have made connections with The Ministry of Defense, Walking with the Wounded, and Forces Families.
As an Armed Forces friendly organisation, we will also be offering support to local cadet units in communities surrounding our 67 parks across the UK.
