Parkdean Resorts recently welcomed Ian Lavery, MP for Wansbeck, to Sandy Bay Holiday Park.

The team gave Mr Lavery a tour of the facilities at the park, and discussed how Parkdean Resorts is committed to caring for its parks, people, and planet to create a positive environmental impact on nature and resources.

Sandy Bay in Northumberland employs over 120 people in peak season and welcomed approximately 21,000 visitors last year. The park also has over 400 holiday homeowners who regularly visit the park and local area with their families throughout the year.

In 2022, the park received a cash injection of over £240,000 which went towards accommodation and facilities upgrades, improving guest experience and ensuring holidaymakers keep coming back to the local area year after year, spending money in local shops, attractions, pubs and restaurants, and supporting the communities that rely so heavily on tourism.

Sandy Bay Holiday Park recently received positive feedback in the 2023 Parkdean Resorts People Engagement Survey, with 100% of employees agreeing with the statements ‘My manager keeps me informed about what is happening at Parkdean Resorts’ and ‘I know what I need to do to be successful in my role’, delivering a ringing endorsement for management at the park.
