Parkdean Resorts, the UK’s leading holiday park operator, has launched a partnership with My Menopause Centre, to support and offer services to employees going through the menopause.
With the help of My Menopause Centre, those working at all Parkdean Resorts parks and offices across the UK can now access their online menopause clinic that provides holistic, evidence-based and personalised care.
Available to employees since July of this year, the initiatives include a 45-minute fast-track consultation with a My Menopause Centre specialist doctor. Within these sessions, a doctor will offer personalised support and listen to understand symptoms, goals and needs. Information, treatment and advice is then tailored and based on a plan that works for the individual, with ongoing support and care provided for as long as they need. Prescriptions are also offered where appropriate, and the overall goal is to help women to take control of their symptoms and thrive.
My Menopause Centre is the only menopause clinic to receive an overall rating of ‘Outstanding’ from the Care Quality Commission and already works with with some of the UK’s biggest companies.
The partnership is part of Parkdean Resorts’ commitment to ensure it provides a safe and inclusive workplace for all its employees. It is just one of a number of initiatives they have launched in recent years to support staff, including signing the Age Friendly Employer Pledge, training more staff as mental health first aiders and partnering with the British Heart Foundation to provide on-site heart health checks.
