Grannie's Heilan' Hame Holiday Park in Sutherland, owned by Parkdean Resorts, is set for a major expansion ahead of the Easter holidays, with an investment of approximately £1m bringing brand-new accommodation to the park.

This latest wave of investment follows a prior £1m investment in 2025, which saw the introduction of new on-park activities and facilities including a children’s play area, adventure golf course, arcade, arts and crafts den, multi-sports court with football, basketball, and tennis, two new outdoor seating areas, and grab and go food and drink outlets Joe’s American Grill, Scoops, and the Fish & Chippery.

The park will expand into a brand-new development featuring 21 new caravans, bringing the total number of accommodation pitches on park to 435. The new area is set to include seven caravans dedicated to holidaymakers and 14 available for purchase as holiday homes.

To showcase the new development, open days will be held on 25th January and 21st February, giving prospective owners the chance to preview the holiday homes. Appointments can be booked by emailing [email protected].          

Grannie's Heilan' Hame Holiday Park employs over 100 team members during peak season. The investment is part of Parkdean Resorts’ wider plan to invest approximately £50m in its parks during 2026 to transform on-park facilities and amenities, expand pitches, and enhance retail developments.
