What to know before you go!

We can't wait to welcome you to Parkdean Resorts! To make your holiday experience as easy as possible, we’ve put together some handy information for before you arrive. We’ll also send you emails explaining everything you need to do, as well as how to book additional activities and experiences.

Booking swimming sessions

Swimming is completely free! You can turn up without pre-booking, however, please be aware this is limited and based on a first come-first-served basis.

You can pre-book swimming by logging into 'Manage My Booking' up to 10 weeks prior to your arrival date and selecting 'book on park activities'. Activities can be pre-booked up to 2 hours before they start.

Find out more by visiting our swimming pools page. You can also view our FAQs for full details on swimming, cancelling, disability friendly pools, and more.

Booking activities

All our amazing activities can be booked via Manage My Booking up to 10 weeks before your holiday. You can also book when you get to the park - but we recommend booking ahead! Activities can be pre-booked up to 2 hours before they start, and we'll send you an email reminder before you're due to travel.

Restaurants, ordering food & shops nearby

Fancy dining out at one of our on-park restaurants? Don’t worry about booking, simply turn up and we’ll do our best to get you seated! All our restaurants offer a children's menu with a range of tasty family favourites and healthy options.

Most of our parks also have on-site supermarkets for all your essentials. Plus, you can get your own groceries delivered! Please ensure your delivery slot is arranged for after you check in.

Visit our food and drinks page to find out more.

What to bring

Not sure what you should take with you? Here’s what we’d recommend:

  • Tea towels, oven gloves, kitchen roll, kitchen foil, washing up equipment
  • Toiletries, hairdryer, towels (if you are staying in a lodge, one towel will be provided per person but will not be changed during your stay)
  • Bedding for cots

What's included

Don’t worry, there’s no need to bring the whole kitchen sink! Here’s what comes as standard in all our accommodation:

  • Bed linen
  • Kitchen equipment including cutlery, crockery and cooking implements
  • Either a smart TV or a TV with freeview

Getting ready for your arrival

We’ll send you a pre-arrival email which will include details of the check-in process, times and more details for your stay.

To get everything ready for your arrival, you will be asked to confirm details such as address and car registration. You can adjust these via Manage My Booking. You may also be asked to verify your ID before your stay so that we can check you in faster.

If you would like to make any amends or upgrade your booking you can do this by logging into Manage My Booking.

Check in

The standard check in time for caravan, glamping and lodge bookings is 4pm. This differs for touring and camping at 2pm.

We offer priority arrival for those wishing to check in early on park. This is 1pm for caravans & lodges and 12pm for touring & camping. You can add this in Manage My Booking.

Arrived early? You’re more than welcome to use the park’s facilities until your accommodation is ready. You’ll need hub passes to access some facilities. More information on hub passes will be available when you arrive.

If you arrive late and reception is closed, you'll still be able to collect your keys from our out-of-hours security team. Please look for signage and a contact number outside reception or speak to a member of staff. Please note, we do not accept arrivals after 11pm, other than under extreme circumstances.

Check out

On the day of your departure we ask that you check out of your accommodation by 10am and drop the keys at reception. However, you'll still be able to use the park's facilities for the rest of the day, provided you have hub passes. The cleaning team would really appreciate it if you could take your bin outside and strip your beds!

Fix your location

We give you the option to pick your location and exact holiday home before you arrive. We charge a small fee to guarantee choice of pitch and confirm location. Please note this is subject to availability. To enquire about your pitch location please contact us via Live Chat.

Caravan cleanliness

We have a wonderful team of cleaners on every park who will clean your accommodation before you arrive.

Should you enter your caravan and find it not cleaned to the high levels that we expect then please make contact with a member of our park team so that we can rectify this as soon as possible.

Barbecues

We do not supply barbecues, however you can use your own as long as you are safe with it and keep it raised off the ground.

You must keep it a little distance away from your accommodation and wooden decking. Please use barbecue stones if they are provided.

Beaches and tides

Many of our parks are on or near to some of the most beautiful UK coastlines. Visit our beaches page for more information!

If you have any specific questions, please visit our FAQs.

Pets

We welcome dogs on park and have a range of dog friendly accommodation perfect for you and your canine companion. To bring your dog with you, you must add any pets at the time of booking. However, you may be able to upgrade to pet friendly accommodation depending on availability.

Please note, a supplementary charge applies. Visit our dog friendly holidays page for more information.
