When you buy with us, we promise to provide you with a clear, straightforward, and enjoyable experience. We’ll walk you through the costs and support you every step of the way: from the moment you decide to buy, to the moment you get your keys and all the way through your holiday home ownership.
So, thinking about buying a holiday home? Here’s our promise to you…
Transparency
We give you all the information you need to know about owning a holiday home with us. That means walking you through all the key parts of your pitch licence agreement during a welcome meeting and sending you a comprehensive video. It is important that you take time to read this information. The pitch licence agreement is the legal contract between you and Parkdean Resorts and clearly lays out the terms and conditions of your holiday home ownership and the arrangements between us.
10-day cooling off period
We want you to be sure you have made the right decision when purchasing your holiday home from us, which is why we offer a cooling-off period. Once you’ve placed your order and signed your agreement, you have 10 working days to change your mind and cancel. If you decide you no longer wish to own a holiday home, we will give you a full refund. More information can be found in your agreement.
30-day money back guarantee
We’re so certain that you’ll love your new holiday home, we offer you a 30-day money back guarantee if you’re a new customer. Once you have received your keys, you have up to 30 days to change your mind and we will refund you the price you paid, minus a standard administration fee of £500*.
Annual pitch fee clarity
We will only ever increase your pitch fee by inflation (measured using the RPI rate in June), unless increased taxes or new regulations or laws are imposed by the government or other authorities. We will always make sure you know, with plenty of notice, the reasons for any increases above and beyond inflation.
No finance commission
We do not receive commission on any holiday home financing.
Minimum 15-year tenure
When you buy a new holiday home from us, you will always have at least 15 years tenure and it can be as high as 40 years depending on what and where you buy. We are proud to say this is longer than the industry minimum of 12 years.
12-month warranty
To give you peace of mind, when you purchase a holiday home from us, you will receive a 12-month warranty as a minimum, free of charge. If it’s a new holiday home, you will receive the manufacturer’s warranty. If it’s an approved used holiday home, you will receive a Parkdean Resorts warranty which covers all parts of the holiday home, excluding any parts which are covered by a third-party guarantee. Renting out your holiday home
As well as enjoying their own holidays, many of our owners choose to rent out their holiday homes and use the income to help offset their running costs. Our scheme, called Your Lets, helps you rent out your holiday home hassle-free. If you’re thinking of renting as an option, check whether your caravan or lodge will be accepted onto our scheme and our friendly team can let you know more. You also have the option to rent out your holiday home privately too.
You can leave at any time
If you decide to sell your holiday home, you can do this at any time and we ensure the process is as smooth as possible. It’s important to us that you have all the information you need to make the right decision for you, so we provide a helpful video which explains your options. You can sell to who you like and when you like, but options include selling privately, taking your caravan off the park, or selling it back to us if we come to an agreement.
Owners Connected
Plus, to make ownership even easier, you’ll have 24-hour access to our exclusive online Owner portal called Owners Connected. Here you can make payments, review account statements, access offers, and view events calendars to find out what’s happening on-park.
Please note: holiday homes are for holiday use only and you are not able to live on park.
