What to bring on your holiday
With stunning scenery, action-packed activities, beautiful beaches, and much more, Parkdean Resorts is the perfect holiday destination.
Our range of static caravans and lodges come with most of what you need to get your holiday started, but there might be some things you’ll want to bring with you.
That’s why we’ve put together this handy checklist to make sure you don’t forget anything important!
Important: don't forget to bring your booking confirmation and the ID you used to verify your booking!
Included in your holiday
Don’t worry, there’s no need to bring the whole kitchen sink! Here’s what comes as standard in all our accommodation:
- Bed linen
- Kitchen equipment including cutlery, crockery and cooking implements
- Either a smart TV or a TV with freeview
- Iron and ironing board
What you can hire
Bringing young children? Save space in your car by hiring highchairs and cots.
Plus, don't forget we have shops and services on our parks for items you may have forgotten. All hire items are subject to availability.
Kitchen
When you're not exploring our range of fantastic eateries and restaurants on park, you might fancy cooking up a storm yourself!
You will need to bring:
- Bin bags
- Washing up bits (cloth, sponge, washing up liquid, hand wash)
- Tea towels
- Oven gloves
- Kitchen roll
- Kitchen foil
- Plastic plates, cups and cutlery if you have young children
Food and drink
Fancy a brew or a home cooked meal? Don’t forget to bring:
- Tea bags/coffee
- Squash
- Salt and pepper
- Tomato sauce and other condiments
- Cooking oil
- Your favourite snacks and treats (for you, the kids or maybe the dog!)
Some of our sites have Nisa stores if you do happen to need anything on your stay.
Bathroom
You will need some basic bathroom essentials to take on your holiday including:
- Towels (unless these are supplied with lodge accommodation) & dressing gown
- Cosmetics
- Toilet rolls, toiletries, hand soap, and bathmat
- Hairdryer
- Suncream
Holiday clothes and items
It’s important to bring the right clothes on holiday. Don’t forget:
- Comfortable shoes for exploring our parks, beaches and local area
- Outdoor clothes & waterproofs
- Sunglasses and hats
- Wellies or flip flops depending on the location and weather
- Sleepwear
Swimming
If you decide to go swimming at our pools or visit the beach on your holiday, here are some items that may be useful to bring:
- Swimwear
- Goggles and armbands
- Swimming towels
- Swimming nappies for the little ones
- A spare bag for your wet clothes
Please note that you can buy inflatables at our pool shops.
Activities
Booked some exciting activities? Think about bringing:
- A pair of trainers (heels/crocs are not suitable for many of the activities)
- A pair of socks for soft play areas and trampolines
- Clothes that you don't mind getting dirty
- Form-fitting clothing which won’t catch on equipment
- Hair ties
- Waterproofs
- A rod license if fishing and any equipment you need (or visit the on-site fishing lodge which sells & hires out equipment)
Sun protection
It is important for you and your family to stay safe in the sun. You should bring:
- Clothing that covers you & a hat
- Sunglasses
- SPF 30+ Sunscreen
Entertainment
