When it comes to couples' breaks, there is no place quite like the Lake District and all 3 of our holiday parks offer the perfect romantic escape. All located in Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the stunning scenery and peaceful setting of our parks will ensure you have the most relaxing holiday.
For the ultimate couples' retreat, why not opt for one of our luxury lodge holidays? Some of our lodges at Fallbarrow and White Cross Bay even have hot tubs when you want to kick back and unwind. Fallbarrow Holiday Park in particular has been rated highly by our guests staying as a couple.

All 3 of our holiday parks in the Lake District welcome dogs and we have plenty of dog friendly accommodation options available including both caravans and lodges.

What are the best holiday parks in Windermere?
Our 3 Lake District holiday parks are all located in Windermere, the closest to the town centre of Bowness being Fallbarrow Holiday Park which is as short walk away.
Each of our parks has something great to offer, all situated in picturesque locations. We would recommend White Cross Bay Holiday Park if having more on park facilities is a must - it is our only holiday park in the Lake District with a swimming pool and entertainment venue and it also benefits from fantastic views of the lake. There are even boat launching facilities should you wish to set sail for the day.
How much does it cost to stay in a caravan in the Lake District?
The cost of a caravan holiday in the Lake District will depend on what model of caravan you choose and the time of year you are visiting. If you're looking for a holiday on a budget, it is always worth checking our last minute holidays page or opting to go self-catering. Choosing to stay in a smaller caravan would also help you to save money.
For a more luxurious break, we have extra wide and brand new caravans available if you're looking to spend a little more on your holiday.
How much does it cost to stay in a lodge in the Lake District?
We offer luxury lodge breaks at all 3 of our holiday parks in the Lake District. The cost of a lodge holiday will depend on the time of year you visit and which lodge you choose to stay in.
Our last minute lodge holidays can offer great value for money, or if you really want to save, you may want to consider going self-catering. On the other hand, our bigger 4 bedroom lodges and hot tub lodges provide the full luxury experience but you can expect to pay a bit more.
Which holiday parks in the Lake District have the best views?
Situated in some of the most scenic parts of the UK, our Lake District holiday parks offer some glorious lakeside and woodland views for you to enjoy. Fallbarrow and White Cross Bay Holiday Parks are located right on the shores of the picturesque Lake Windermere, whilst Limefitt Holiday Park sits within the pretty Troutbeck Valley and benefits from the mountain beck passing directly through the park.
However, please be aware that not all of our accommodation will have the advantage of a view - please call us if you would like to discuss pitch locations.
What are the best holiday parks in the Lake District for families?
All 3 of our Lake District holiday parks offer a relaxing family break, with lots of nearby family friendly attractions in addition to our on park facilities.
We would recommend White Cross Bay Holiday Park in particular if having plenty of kids' activities on park is a must for your holiday. This is the only park in the Lake District which has a swimming pool and entertainment venue, as well as a kids' club and our Outdoor 'n' Explore programme. Fallbarrow Holiday Park has also been rated highly by families.

Which holiday parks in the Lake District have swimming pools?
Our only holiday park in the Lake District to have an indoor swimming pool is White Cross Bay, which also includes a spa bath, sauna and steam room for ultimate relaxation. During busy periods, the pool may operate on a booked time slot basis.
If you're staying at Fallbarrow Holiday Park, the nearest local swimming pool is only a seven minute drive away if you fancy taking a dip.

Which holiday parks in the Lake District have WiFi?
Our 3 holiday parks in the Lake District all provide free WiFi within the main complex areas.
Due to the rural location of our parks, you may experience weak signal strength on your mobile phone, particularly at White Cross Bay as the park is situated between hills. If you have any concerns regarding this, we would recommend contacting your service provider before your arrival on park.
Which holiday parks in the Lake District are suitable for the disabled?
We provide wheelchair friendly accommodation and facilities at all of our Lake District holiday parks. With extra features such as wider doors and ramps, we want to make sure your holiday is as easy and comfortable as possible. For more information, head to our accessible holidays page.
If you or a member of your group struggles with mobility, you may want to consider the terrain of your park when booking a holiday. White Cross Bay and Fallbarrow are mainly flat parks, however there are a few hilly areas which may prove difficult to navigate for someone with a physical disability. We would not recommend Limefitt Holiday Park for anyone with mobility issues due to its location on a very steep hill. What are the best times of year to visit the Lake District?
No matter what time of year you choose to visit, you're always guaranteed to have a fantastic holiday in the Lake District. With an abundance of indoor and outdoor activities, come rain or shine you'll find plenty of things to do during your stay. From climbing mountains and swimming in lakes to exploring local towns and visiting museums, there's a day out to suit all weathers. The warmest month on average is July with temperatures generally reaching highs of 20 degrees.
Due to the popularity of the area, the Lakes can get very busy during peak period and if you would rather escape the crowds, we would recommend visiting outside of school holidays when many attractions will be quieter.
