Our Favourite Attractions near Lower Hyde

Warm sun, the touch of soft sand, the murmur of the waves... the seaside is a relaxing place to be. But it can be action-packed too, especially at Lower Hyde!

The park neighbours Shanklin, a favourite resort since Victorian times, which is renowned for its expansive beach, sweeping esplanade and family-friendly amusements. One particular highlight is Shanklin Chine, a wooded gorge filled with waterfalls; surely the IOW's most unusual seaside attraction!

Nearby you'll find a choice of vintage resorts, like Ventnor and Sandown, and countless wildlife attractions, including the charming Donkey Sanctuary and the exotic Amazon World Zoo.
