We booked the Avon Lodge, Sea View 93, which we had previously stayed in and it was as perfect as we remembered. The views and beach access were just perfect. There were a couple of minor issues with accommodation but they were sorted out very quickly and courteously by reception. My son is autistic and the entertainment staff could not have been more helpful, asking if we needed the music turned down and organising for us to go in and out the pool at quieter times. It was just so good. The on site shop was good, but could have had more fresh supplies in. The activities available were very good. The site is in easy drive range of Mabie Farm Park and Dalscone Farm Park both of which are brilliant days out. Beware though, to make sure you take all meds with you as there is no pharmacy nearby, you'd have to go all the way back into Dumfries.
