Visit Swansea

Flanked by golden sands and only minutes away from the breathtaking Gower Peninsula, Wales’ second city occupies a heavenly location. But there’s more than wild beauty here, Swansea has impressive art galleries, history, culture, shopping and a humongous indoor market.

For museums, Swansea is hard to beat. The National Waterfront Museum is a particular stand out, with exhibitions detailing the area’s industrial past but with a focus on interactivity that makes it ideal for kids. The Dylan Thomas centre is just as engaging, and a wonderful spot to explore the works of this world-famous poet. His birthplace is here in Swansea too.

For contemporary thrills, head to Wales’ biggest waterpark at the LC, where numerous slides, surfable waves and rapidly flowing rivers are certain to get your heart racing.
