While Newquay is definitely more fun in the sun, there's still plenty to do in the rain. In and around Newquay, you'll find a wide range of indoor attractions, including the Blue Reef Aquarium, Paulo's Circus (July-September) and a wide range of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants to shelter in.
That being said, you shouldn't let the wet weather put you off getting outdoors. There are a number of great kids’ attractions with both indoor and outdoor areas - so you can take shelter as needed, including Dairyland Farm Park and Lappa Valley. Our top tip is trying out watersports such as surfing or coasteering when it's raining - you're going to get wet anyway, so why not make the most of it?
