Crantock Beach is located on Cornwall's north coast, just a couple of miles west of the famous resort town of Newquay. It's the next bay along from Newquay's iconic Fistral Beach and is sandwiched between the Pentire and West Pentire Headlands. One feature unique to Crantock Beach's location is the River Gannel, which runs along the edge of the beach, with the Gannel Estuary forming part of the shoreline.
