Terms & Conditions
1. Summary
1.1. Win a 2023 OR 2024 Tots’ Break and a selected range of Pip and Posy official merchandise, subject to these terms and conditions.
1.2. Enter via Parkdean Resorts’ Instagram page on the competition post.
2. Eligibility
2.1. Entrants must not be employed by Parkdean Resorts UK Limited or any member of the Parkdean Resorts Group, or be in the Immediate Family of a person who is employed by Parkdean Resorts UK Limited or a member of the Parkdean Resorts Group.
2.2. Immediate Family means spouse, civil partner, parent, grandparent, child, stepchild, grandchild, brother or sister and the spouse of any of those persons.
2.3. Entrants must be 18 years old or over.
3. Entry
3.1. Entrants must comment by tagging the name of an Instagram account on the competition post. The entrant must also follow the @ParkdeanResorts and @pipandposyworld Instagram pages and share the post on their Instagram story (“the Entry Requirements”). This counts as one entry.
3.2. Entrants may only enter once.
3.3. Entrants must enter between 9am on 08 September 2023 and 9am 29 September 2023. Entries received outside of these times will not be accepted.
4. The draw
4.1. One winner will be chosen at random on 03 October 2023.
4.2. If the winner has not followed the Entry Requirements, the draw will be redrawn at random until a winner who has followed the Entry Requirements is chosen.
4.3. The winner will be notified by @ParkdeanResorts replying to their comment on the competition post on Instagram and the winner will receive an Instagram direct message from @ParkdeanResorts with a PDF letter detailing how to book the Tots Break, how to claim the full Selected Range of Pip and Posy official merchandise and a reminder of these terms and conditions (the “Prize Letter”).
5. The prize
5.1. The winner will receive one Tots’ Break (4 nights Mon-Fri) on selected dates at a 2023 Participating Park or a 2024 Participating Park and a selected range of Pip and Posy official merchandise (“Prize”).
5.2. The Selected Range of Pip and Posy official merchandise is listed on the Prize Letter.
5.3. The Prize must be taken at a 2023 Participating Park or a 2024 Participating Park in accordance with these terms and conditions. The holiday is subject to availability at the time of booking. Further information on individual parks is available on the Parkdean Resorts website.
5.4. The 2023 Participating Parks are Newquay, Sandford, Camber Sands and Cayton Bay. The winner can book the prize at a 2023 Participating Park to stay on selected dates between 09 September 2023 and 31 December 2023, subject to availability. 5.5. The 2024 Participating Park are Lizard Point (available on 22/04/2024, 1/07/2024, 23/09/2024), Newquay (available on 17/06/2024, 14/10/2024), Ruda (available 22/04/24, 15/07/2024, 30/09/2024), Torquay (available 01/07/2024, 07/10/2024), Sandford (available 15/04/2024), Warmwell (available 29/04/2024, 02/09/2024), Highfield Grange (available 13/05/2024, 10/06/2024, 02/09/2024), Naze Marine (available 20/05/2024, 17/06/2024), Landguard (available 30/09/2024), Camber Sands (available 06/05/2024, 03/06/2024, 08/07/2024), Cherry Tree (available 22/04/2024, 03/06/2024, 23/09/2024) , Kessingland Beach (available 06/05/2024, 7/10/2024), Southview (available 15/04/2024, 20/05/2024, 24/06/2024, 07/10/2024), , Sandy Bay (available 06/05/2024, 10/06/2024, 16/09/2024), Southerness (available 06/05/2024, 10/06/2024, 30/09/2024), Trecco Bay (29/04/2024, 09/09/2024, 21/10/2024), Ty Mawr (available 13/05/2024, 02/09/2024) and Cayton Bay (available 20/05/2024, 30/09/2024, 04/11/2024). The winner can book the Prize at a 2024 Participating Park to stay on the selected dates above between 01 January 2024 and 31 December 2024, subject to availability.
5.6. The winner will need to contact Parkdean Resorts via telephone to book the holiday. The telephone number will be provided in the Prize Letter and is available on our website.
5.7.The prize is non-exchangeable, and no cash or voucher alternative is offered.
5.8. The value of the holiday cannot be transferred to another holiday.
5.9. The winner must have taken their holiday by 31 December 2024.
5.10. Any extras such as pets, dining options, cots, bed guards and highchairs will be chargeable in line with Parkdean Resorts’ standard charges from time to time.
5.11. The winner is responsible for any expenses and arrangements not specifically included in the prize, including travel to and from the Participating Park.
5.12. Parkdean Resorts reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond their control make it necessary to do so.
5.13. The holiday is subject to Parkdean Resorts’ standard holiday booking terms and conditions which can be found at https://www.parkdeanresorts.co.uk/terms-and-conditions/.
5.14. The promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram or Meta.
6. Administrative
6.1. Parkdean Resorts accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, mislaid, or damaged, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure.
6.2. Parkdean Resorts’ decision regarding any aspect of the competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
6.3. Entrants accept and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry.
6.4. Parkdean Resorts reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize, to anyone where these terms and conditions or its standard holiday booking terms and conditions have been breached, or where the winner has previously been banned from Parkdean Holiday parks.
6.5. Parkdean Resorts reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
6.6. In so far as is permitted by law, Parkdean Resorts, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Parkdean Resorts, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes any liability that cannot be excluded by law. Your statutory rights are not affected. Parkdean Resorts may request that the winner participates in publicity relating to this competition, which may include publication of their name and photograph in any media.
6.7. The competition will be governed by English Law and entrants to the competition submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
6.8. The Promoter of the competition is Parkdean Resorts. Parkdean Resorts is a reference to Parkdean Resorts UK Limited of 2nd Floor, One Gosforth Park Way, Gosforth Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE12 8ET.
6.9. If we cannot contact the winner within a reasonable period of the draw being made, we reserve the right to re-draw, and the original winner will no longer be entitled to receive the prize.
