Visit Port Isaac

The TV show Doc Martin may have put Port Isaac on the map, but this scenic fishing village has been charming tourists for generations. Its tiny, pretty cobbled streets are home to galleries and pottery shops alongside cafes and restaurants – many of which serve fish straight from the harbour.

This makes the village a popular spot for foodies. There are two Nathan Outlaw eateries here, including his flagship two-star Michelin restaurant, which was applauded as the UK’s best restaurant by the Good Food Guide in 2018! But there’s more than fine dining here. Highly rated pasty shops, tea rooms and pubs serve up a host of simple, classic Cornish flavours.

After all that indulgence, get active by exploring the spectacular coast nearby, Port Isaac is within easy reach of Cornwall's best hidden gems and attractions. You can hike a stretch of the awe-inspiring South West Coast Path, cycle the glorious Camel Trail or visit nearby Port Quin for sea kayaking, paddleboarding and coasteering!
