The park itself was in a great location accessible to towns and bike trails. Facilities very tired and not as nice as the bar area in the Lower Hyde. Swimming pool not great and the access arrangements was very poorly handled. Sent the kids to the 10am session, totally full and they came back ready for the next session, not knowing that they had to go 20 mins before that to be able to get their names down....very disappointing

Activities are very limited for young children and teenagers. We went with our 3yr old grandson and 2 15yr old boys. The kids morning activity on Tuesday and Thursday were okay but the evening was too hectic for him, on one occasion he was accidentally pushed over and trodden on when playing the "corner" game. He wanted to go on the flume in the pool, we read the guidelines which did state non swimmers, but another lad wearing a buoyancy aid was allowed so we assumed our grandson would be if we waited at the bottom for him. We queued up and was told that he had to be a metre tall, it does not say this on the guideline board, naturally this upset him. The teenagers used the pool for their 40 allocated minutes and then needed to walk to your sister site to play basket ball (good job we bought a ball with us) the only other thing was to spend money in the arcade or kick the ball about. They were also charged different prices on every occasion for the same two drinks!
Although we had paid for upgrade, our caravan was not made up on arrival, neither was there any linen left. I needed to queue again at reception to get this sorted. We could not get all the channels on the tv either. Before arrival I telephoned to advise that we were not bringing our dog as she had had an operation. For some reason the money we had spent for her to be with us could not be refunded, I would have thought that vouchers to spend on site could have been issued if there was no moneytary refund.
On a plus side, the majority of staff were polite and friendly.
The location is very good if you want to use it as a base but not for the entertainment if you have young children or teenagers.

Languard is very small with not a lot of facilities the arcade machines never work and is so small was only allowed in swimming pool for half hr each day which is stupid also entertainment hall and stage is so small without lower Hyde being a short distance away this would have been a very boring place
