This was our first time at Landguard, although we have been to two of Park Resorts' other parks on Isle of Wight before.
The park was well-kept and tidy. The reception team were very efficient and helpful. The shop was quite well-stocked and the staff were very informative.
One down point for us was that it is not possible (in most cases) to park next to your accommodation.
We did not visit the pool or entertainment or food outlet as we had our dog with us. He enjoyed his break.
It's only a short walk to Morrisons at Lake, or Aldi, but a bit longer walk to Lidl.
I feel it would be a bit too far to walk to the beach if you have small children in tow.

The park is in a really good location in that it is within a 15 minute walk to Shanklin and you can walk to the beach, although quite a long steep uphill walk.

We were lucky to go out of season as I feel the car park would not have been suited to a big car at busy times due to the tightness/positioning of the spaces.

The pools were small and we didn't bother using them as it wasn't worth putting a swimming costume on for, we swam at the beach instead. (Lower Hyde was even worse).

The "restaurant" seemed more like the breakfast room of a B&B rather than a restaurant, however the restaurant at Lower Hyde park seemed much better, but it wasn't worth the walk when there are so many other places to eat out.

Cambridge GB
Tried looking, staff not helpful at all.
Pool closed at 5pm, when it was the hottest week yet.

Only one person working with the children in the evening.
No shop or place to buy children ice cream after the 1hour of kids show.
Only 1 person behind the bar in the evening.

The young girl in the poolside, it would not be to much for her to smile once and away.
She told 1 child off of running in the pool, which the child broke down and cried.

A decent park ideal for families, we stayed in a lodge which was clean and modern though showing some signs of wear and tear. The Lodges are set in a nice quiet woodland location but close to all of the facilities.
The pools are nice however they could of been spruced up for the summer season. The life guards were very attentive which is excellent.
Food is typical at this sort of location, drinks are expensive.
Staff on arrival and all other staff were very freindly and helpful.
This is a very nice park and despite some very minor shortcomings i would recomend
