The caravan was under trees which was initially good because if hot weather but you could tell area not looked after and I watched quite a few rats running around under other caravans.
My first night was a Monday and the fire alarm started beeping every 30 secs keeping me awake. A courtesy call was made about 11am on the Tuesday he asked if all ok, I told him about the fire alarm. He tested it and told me someone would be around that day.
No one came beeping continued Wednesday morning I phoned reception no answer from operator or maintenance. Disgraceful.
I eventually spoke to someone selling caravans as I knew they would answer he arranged for someone to come round that day and the alarm was replaced.

An underated gem. Having never been to a caravan park before I was highly sceptical however the resort was clean, friendly and well resoursed (bars, facilities etc).

Location is fantastic. Caravans are clean and well tended.

Stafg friendly and welcoming.

My one complaint is that having left a jumper and a hoody in one of the bedrooms and informed the resort 15mins after we havd left and despite 3 phone calls chasing them they still haven't informed me if they have located the items or called me back so they score a 5 for staff helpfullness.

Make certain that you know whereabouts your unit is on the park. It won't be "five minutes from the beach" if you are booked at the top of this enormous park. It was nearly half a mile from my unit to reception, beach almost double that. Don't think you can drive there easily, it's a rabbit warren with lots of one way sections, poorly signed, so you are bound to get lost.
