Having read some of the awful reviews I cannot understand what people are complaining about. We are an extended family of 4 adults and 6 children staying in 2 caravans. The caravans were clean and well equipped. The site is very large and as we did not have a car there was quite a bit of walking to be done as we were away from the main area but the advantage of that was a nice sunny location where children could play in safety. The in the Boathouse dining was of good standard and reasonably priced. The pool was well supervised and safe for all (our youngest is 2, oldest 15). I did not personally go into the clubhouse of an evening so cannot comment on that. The 2 swing park areas were both well equipped and the bouncy castle at reception was a hit with the youngest 3 whilst we were waiting for our vans to be ready.
The beach was okay, pebble and ballast, not the greatest. The only problem with the beach was the wasps and they are not the fault of Parkdean. Not having a car we were unable to travel but enjoyed the whole week on site. I would recommend this site but advise best to have your own transport.
