Our Favourite Things to Do near Landguard
With three seaside resorts nearby, your family can get their fill of seaside fun at Landguard. The park sits on the outskirts of Shanklin and its sun-bleached, golden sands are just a short stroll away. It has lovely Victorian beach huts, an arcade and lots of watersports on offer too.
To the south lies elegant Ventnor with its mild microclimate, beach and subtropical gardens, while to the north stands Sandown. One the island's most popular seaside towns, it has lots of classic attractions and a fantastic pier, plus a zoo where you can get up-close to lions and tigers!
