The Best Sights near White Cross Bay

Resting on the shores of glorious Lake Windermere, White Cross Bay is ideally placed for outdoor adventures in the Lake District.

Naturally, with Windermere, Coniston and Ullswater so close by it's a great spot for watersports but you'll find plenty of opportunities for walking, climbing, cycling and even canyoning too. Getting active in such heavenly surroundings guarantees you some great family memories.

There are gentler attractions too, like charming Beatrix Potter World in nearby Bowness-on-Windermere or Dove Cottage in Grasmere, where you can learn about the iconic Romantic poet, William Wordsworth.
