If the idea of waking up with a beach on your doorstep appeals, then Southerness Holiday Park could just be your ideal spot for touring or camping in Scotland.

Located in Dumfries and Galloway, the park offers touring and camping customers the choice of a wide variety of pitches including non-electric, electric and star pitches –which have their own drainage system for showers and sinks as well as a water supply. Pitch sizes vary from 7.6m x 5.7m to 7.6m x 10.6m

Touring facilities include awning space, waste disposal points, shower & toilet with baby changing facilities, a disabled bathroom with shower and a launderette.

Outside of the park you’re spoilt for choice when it comes to things to do and see with stunning scenery that extends in every direction.  The ‘Marilyn’ of Criffel – a whale-backed hill that rises above the Solway Firth - gives views of Cumbria’s Lake District in the distance - a perfect space for hiking or dog walking. The Solway Firth coastal region itself is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty offering miles of beaches that are teeming with wildlife – making it an excellent place for you to spot some rare species!
