Newquay is home to around 25,000 residents, however, this number swells significantly during school holidays and summer months, as one of the South West's most popular visitor destinations. While the town centre is fairly compact, stretching a couple of miles along North Cornwall's coastline, it packs a lot in - and the surrounding areas and beaches on its outskirts are also considered part of Newquay.
