Lizard Point is definitely worth visiting if South Cornwall is on your travel itinerary. The whole of the Lizard Peninsula is famous for its unique natural habitats and stunning coastal and countryside landscapes. Surrounded by sea on three sides, 'The Lizard' as it's known, boasts some of the most spectacular rocky coastlines the UK has to offer.
Lizard Point, its southern tip (and the most southerly point in mainland England) is a must for a photo. Nearby Kynance Cove and Mullion Cove are also well worthwhile, offering spectacular beaches and crystal clear waters to swim in. You'll also find plenty of walking opportunities around The Lizard.
