Owners - Accommodation Ranges FAQs

Want to find out more about how our new accommodation ranges will impact you as an Owner? We've put together some helpful information below.

Accommodation Grading & Classification

Why has my letting grade changed?

We’ve restructured our holiday home classifications into new accommodation ranges that group holiday homes by shared features such as size, quality of fixtures and fittings and specific features, for example parking, decking, sea view etc. This change reflects guest feedback and is designed to make selecting accommodation easier and more intuitive.

What should I do if I’m unhappy with how my holiday home has been categorised?

We’re sorry to hear that. All holiday homes have been assessed using consistent criteria including size, make and model, and key features to ensure a fair and standardised approach. Your on-park Experience team will be more than happy to talk you through this and answer any questions you may have.

Why hasn’t my grade changed even though I recently part exchanged?

Grading is now determined by attributes like overall size, number of bedrooms, make and model as well as features that help make our guests holidays extra special such as dedicated parking, en-suite or sea views for example.

What improvements can I make to change my accommodation category?

Please speak with your on-park Experience Team about potential upgraded accommodations as well as additional features you may be able to add, which may help influence your categorisation and earning potential.

Earnings & Pricing

Will these changes affect my earnings for past bookings or the rest of this year?

No. Any earnings from completed bookings this year will be paid at the charged rate minus standard commission. Future bookings already confirmed will remain at the amount the guest has paid, subject to the usual terms and conditions.

Will my earnings decrease because of the accommodation name change?

Future bookings will reflect the updated pricing model, which is determined by demand and available promotions. Income on the scheme is not guaranteed until after the guest has arrived at your holiday home.

How will my earnings be affected overall?

The new categories are designed to improve booking visibility and guest experience, which may positively impact your earnings. Pricing continues to follow seasonal demand and availability.

Could I earn more or less under the new system?

We regularly review our prices in line with demand. This means that the price your holiday home is booked under Your Lets could be less than the price in any marketing or on the website. Your on-park Experience Team is available to talk through what this means for you and answer any specific questions you may have.

Will my guaranteed earnings under Your Lets Fixed still be honoured?

Yes. All commitments under the Your Lets Fixed scheme remain unchanged.

Where can I view a breakdown of my revised earnings?

Earnings statements are accessible via your Owners Connected account after bookings have taken place.

What should I do if I feel mis-sold after purchasing a holiday home based on the previous Your Lets scheme earning guide?

You should never purchase or part exchange a holiday home to make money. Income from the scheme is never guaranteed. Please speak to your on-park Experience Team for a personalised review.

Booking Volume & Scheme Participation

Will I receive more bookings or fewer as a result of the changes?

We cannot guarantee to let your holiday home on any of the letting dates that you provide to us, which is consistent to before this change. However, these adjustments aim to improve how guests discover and select holiday homes, and make their booking experience easier and more straight forward.

What happens to my holiday home if I currently sublet with you?

Your holiday home will continue to participate in the scheme and will be reclassified under the new accommodation range, ensuring it remains visible and bookable.

Can I leave the scheme and let my holiday home privately?

Yes, although we are making these changes to make it even easier for guests to find the right caravan or lodge to suit their needs. While we would encourage owners to remain on the Your Lets scheme, your on-park Experience Team can discuss your options with you.

Part Exchange & Upgrades

Will I earn more income if I part exchange for a newer holiday home?

Pricing now considers size, make and model and features your holiday home may have, such as decking or dedicated parking. Please speak to your sales team who can help identify holiday homes and options to suit the pitch you occupy.

I am in the process of part exchanging; how will this impact my potential earnings I discussed with the sales team?

Nothing will change with regards to your part exchange. The updated earnings guide reflects the new accommodation categories. Holiday prices are only guaranteed once the holiday has taken place.

Imagery & Online Representation

Can I change the website images as they don’t match my holiday home?

Images are representative of the accommodation range and selected to reflect a majority of offerings. Actual design and appearance will vary by location.

Why does my holiday home look identical to others on the website?

For consistency and clarity in marketing, images are standardised across categories. All homes must meet Your Lets guidelines, and while your efforts to personalise your space are appreciated, styling is not displayed individually online.
