My daughter & I enjoyed a Mon-Fri stay last week. It was first wk of November when majority of schools were back open after half term therefore the park was very quiet during our stay. We originally were given an osmington 3bed as prepaid for, however on arrival it was dark and my DD felt our lodge location was eerie (the accommodation itself was nice but lodge 182 is at the back of the park and although it was quiet due to the week of stay plus it being evening, she didn’t feel comfortable staying there with just the two of us, our first holiday without our boys). We returned to reception to enquire about something nearer to complex and Hailey couldn’t have been any nicer/more accommodating. She instantly found us alternative and we were delighted and appreciated it! We upgraded further, to a Blandford 3bed (our choice -we could’ve stayed with osmington and gone to lodge 18 but chose to swap) and ended up in lodge 44 which was brilliant - thanks Hailey! Turns out the small close of lodges just up behind the complex is a fantastic spot. It was really quiet (close to outside road - other side of hedge but we didn’t notice traffic noise indoors), very clean, just a stroll down to the playground, pool, restaurant etc (you can cut through there to get to arcade) and luxury. Our spacious lodge felt like a home from home with nice carpet in open plan living & dining area (DD had room to dance and perform behind the 3 sofas lounge area), large square kitchen, two twin rooms (both excellent size rooms with good size beds, storage and even space to move around between beds and end of them) and best of all, to our surprise, the main double bedroom came with not only tv and en-suite but a walk in wardrobe too! We loved it! We felt very spoilt and should we be able to afford the Blandford in future we wouldn’t hesitate to book this again. DD and I were looking to relax so we spent many a time in the lodge playing board games (our own) at the dining table and baking in the nice big kitchen. When we weren’t doing this though we visited the snow centre. A shout out must go to friendly Abby and Gary. My girl loved the ringos - thank you! For £7.50 she got half hour on these. Initially she arrived “scared” but Abby instantly put her at ease and by the end of the first session and after several gos due to only four participating (it was a quiet wk!), she had my daughter running back up the hill to go again. Upon return on our last day, DD had a ringo session all to herself. She had so much fun but being alone it meant she was going up & down the hill much more frequently (excellent but tiring on her young legs) - they felt sorry for her and kindly helped her by meeting her down the hill and assisting her. By the end of the session Abby had DD spinning down at speed and backwards - squeals of delight could be heard. Such a lovely end to our trip and something we will return to do again in the future! In addition to ringos, we also enjoyed the roller rink (£2pp - There is a choice between quad and in-line skates but the latter are unfortunately only available in smaller sizes; had it been possible to get adult sizes in the inline skates I would’ve joined my girl but I can’t manage standing still in the quads lol so I ended up spectating and she went round on her own) and also the swimming pool. The flume was apparently not working all week due to “mechanical” reasons but we didn’t see any repair going on so wondered it was actually due to staff numbers/quietness. We did get the wave machine though and DD had fun trying dismally to walk in the water walkers (note £5 is not for a whole half hour session but only five minutes - something we weren’t aware of)..... We didn’t see evening entertainment at anytime as it appeared to only be vocalists and was later in the evening but we did join the bingo on one night (they had to get 20players before it could go ahead and remained inhouse rather then linked to other parks - better chance of winning if you’re lucky though). The arcade was good fun too. The bowlingo seemed to have a mind of its own but the nice gentleman working the Tuesday and Thursday last week reset it for us when the computer crashed and then kindly gave us a new start on the second lane.
DD enjoyed the basketball game and I liked winning on the deal or no deal machine :) On the Friday we were able to exchange our tickets without queuing which was a new experience lol. The exchange also wasn’t too bad as DD mostly wanted sweets and got more for her ‘money’ as some items such as the lipstick swizzles were half the ticket req from previous weeks. We self catered by eating in our lodge so can’t comment on the restaurant food but the prices on menu appeared no more than what you would expect (pricey for convenience but not extortionate) and the staff in there were also friendly (one lady who served costa coffee & cake for us was particularly refreshing with smiles and “darling” throughout serving. Definitely no grumpiness there)....
We really enjoyed the setting of Warmwell and all staff seemed welcoming and friendly. My DD has asked if it can be a new tradition for us (to return same lodge same week every year) and I can’t think of any reason to say no. We had a lovely break! Thank you Parkdean.

we thoroughly enjoyed our mid week stay at warmwell. We stayed in a Portland 2 bed lodge which was huge. It was dated but we hadn’t expected a top of the range lodge as we had booked via the sun holiday offer so hadn’t paid a lot. It was clean and spacious. The park is beautiful, we absolutely loved it. We didn’t really use any of the facilities but the staff we encountered were cheerful, helpful and polite. We loved it so much we have already booked for next year, I think it is safe to say we will be returning regularly.

Absolutely fabulous holiday. The Lodge was to die for even though it was pet friendly it was extremely clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and very helpful. It was a shame the only take away food was Fish and chips or Pizza from the restaurant. There is a small area just inside the main door of the bar that would make an ideal location for residents to eat accompanied by their well behaved dogs. Still the cooking facilities in the Lodge were excellent s we didn't starve. We are counting the days to our return. Thank you all for a great holiday
