About Sheringham

Boasting a lovely Blue Flag beach, a long promenade and some fine seafood restaurants, Sheringham is a treasure trove of traditional seaside delights. At low tide, the sea retreats and reveals golden sands that are perfect for relaxing strolls, while at sunset the waves turn beautiful shades of orange and red. So grab some fish and chips and enjoy the show!

There’s more magic away from the shore. The historic steam trains at the North Norfolk Railway will take you back to the golden age of rail travel. Hop on board and journey along the ten-mile route to witness the lovely woodlands and flower-filled meadows of the Norfolk Coast – an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

You can really get up-close to nature at lush and leafy Sheringham Park. The 10,000-acre parkland is perfect for picnics and has several trails running through it, from which you’ll spot deer, birds and butterflies.
