Had a great time, were unable to use majority of the facilities due to having our dog with us so can't comment on them. Would be good to see some dog friendly activities

Lovely clean caravan. Good size pool, lifeguards are very friendly.
The park is right on the beach.
There isn't as much todo at this park as other parks qe have been to (camber sands)
The steam train was great fun!

We were were Shingle Bay 18. It looked like half the furniture was missing as a shelving unit looks to have been removed and the televsion is up on the wall but there was a space in the corner with a cable coming out of the wall attached to nothing. There was nowhere to put your coffee or tea whilst watching TV unlike other vans we have stayed in. The double bed matress was really uncomfortable and had large buttons on.

The Caravan had some cleaning issues with a large makup hand print by the mirror in the double bedroom and the lids from makeup on the floor, also some of the mugs had brown marks in but as I always clean when I arrive I had my antibac wipes etc with me gave the place a good clean. Also we did not have a broom (just a brook stick) so had to sweep up using the pan and brush and no mop or bucket so cleaned the floors with floor wipes.

The only time we did call reception was to put the heating on - it was chilly day when we arrived and the van was freezing. I followed the instructiosn to press the button to boot the heating but that was not working. A team member arrived really quickly and informed us the the boost button had been deactivated due to them not really working and we would need to work the heating via the boiler. He was really helpful and showed us how it all worked.

Overall we had a really good holiday and these are only minor points but I think worth mentioning. We were there with other family members who had a lovely caravan that was spotlessly clean (as ours have been on previous visits) and we will definatley visit again but they really do need to get their house in order when it comes to the food service. The staff in the club house are really lovely and work so hard and it's not nice for them to have to keep apologising when actually its the managmenet who should be ensuring that food advetised for sale is available.

Thanks for this review Linda!

We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay at Romney Sands, however, have passed your feedback regarding the accommodation onto our Housekeeping Manager for review.

Our staff are working incredibly hard in the restaurant, but as you are aware, operating on a limited menu, due to supplier chain issues - I hope you managed to find something on the menu to suit.

We look forward to welcoming you back on park again soon.

Best regards
