Visited surrounding areas had lovely walks, caravan was lovely, it’s a pity the local pub wasn’t open or any restaurant in walking distance

I have had previously good hoildays at different locations before. I was very disappointed with this weekend. I understand it is still limited due to covid but was not clear on website how little would be open. There was never anyone in the reception so couldn't play the crazy golf. It was awful, thank good at least for the steam train that stops in the station. We were so looking forward to this weekend and our family has gone through so much and needed this break. Just feel very ripped off and let down

We had a cheap small 2 bed option with living room bed. The caravan was nicely maintained/near new condition. The living room bed isn't usable unless you like being laid on metal bars. We slept on the many seating cushions instead. The park location is good for walks, sunsets and the beach. The site was quiet as we were early season after covid lockdown ended, but can imagine is very busy in the summer. Pool was well managed given situation.
