A lovely friendly park in beautiful surroundings. A car is recommended to access local areas fully but great on a bike if you like the exercise!

This was our 3rd visit to St Margaret's bay and although we had a lovely stay we felt the entertainment area i.e. Arcade, pool table and bar toilets were inadequately kept. The troupers Becky and Becki were very friendly and made us all feel welcome and kept our 2 children happily entertained. In general the whole experience was enjoyable and we will more than likely return again next year, hopefully with a newly refurbished arcade and toilets. Fingers crossed!

Lovely 4 night break, caravan spacious and comfortable. Nice indoor pool which the grandchildren made good use of and thoroughly enjoyed. Enjoyed a lovely meal at the Coastguard Pub down in St Margarets Bay and went on the light railway from Hythe to Dungeness. Visited nearby Dover and Deal. Overall a good site for us as fairly quiet which we like.

The caravan was not that clean and tidy, we found food under the bed and dirty cotton wool on the floor. The bathroom had quite a few ear wigs in it. I could not sleep in the main bedroom as the mattress or the sheets made me itch.

I will start with the positive.

This park is in a lovely beautiful area. The park has two swimming pools which were both really nice. The entertainment was small but good for children and we didn't have any problems in getting a table.
Drinks reasonable prices.

Now for the not so positive.

Arcade very run down, one machine, the dance machine had wires exposed.
Accommodation was supposed to be gold i wouldn't say it was of gold standard.
3 glasses had hair line cracks.
No tin opener.
Items dirty.
Beds were supposed to be made up on arrival and they was but when we went to open the pull out bed in the living room which we needed being six of us we realised we didn't have any sheets pillows or duvets. Reception was closed so had to call out of hours. Then waited 45 minutes for them to bring them and we had to make them up ourselves and they were awful dirty duvets and pillows so I don't know where they got them from. Not good when children are tired and wanting to go to sleep so not a great start to the holiday. Also brought 2pints of milk from the on site shop and the milk was curdled I didn't realise this until my son was complaining that his milk wasn't coming out of his bottle!we have stayed at many Park resort and park Dean holidays but I am going to try a different holiday company next time.

the area is beautiful around there and the swimming pool and entertainment staff were good. Overall we had a good holiday I feel a holiday is what you make it.
