A nice place if you want to be out the way but we were centre caravan on the troutbeck river and were the centre of attention for all the staring people walking past and could see people getting dressed In the lodges without shutting the blinds or curtains. Small site which is good but 4 miles from bowness. Shop was reasonable value for money but some of the staff need an adjustment with attitude and helpfulness. The guy in the Haybarn Inn was great and very helpful and so was a couple of people in the reception. When we used the shop the girl there was very friendly and polite. Probably would prefer fallbarrow park if I come to the lake district again. Not happy with lake district as because we're from wales we felt like aliens there. The caravan definitely needs attention and bringing up to spec. Can understand why it previously was a good standard and isn't any more.
