A long weekend with my parents followed by a really lovely week with my husband and pooches, soon after. Surroundings are stunning. Check in was fast and efficient and staff were super helpful when we needed a couple of dog bowls. Regardless of the weather (we were blessed with a few warm, dry days) Limefitt Park for us, is ideal. Looking forward to our next stay.

Overall a great place for a relaxing holiday. Could do with more information supplied on what is in the nearby area. On the morning that we left we noticed a bus stop right outside the park entrance. Be wary of SATNAV directions - ours insisted on taking us on "shortcuts" on narrow lanes with limited passing places! Driving up the eastern side of Conisten allows some access to the lake edge but the unclassified lane is very narrow. By the way Windermere town is about a mile and a half away from the lake! NO PHONE SIGNAL (unless you are on vodaphone?)

It is a wonderful park. My only complaint is for dog owners to not use multi sport pitch to walk dogs and allow them to foul the area pretty please. There is a dedicated dog walking area, which I hope they will use and the multi pitch be cleaned up for our next visit.
