Had a lovely stay at regents bay as always. Tried a different caravan this time as usually we stay in sandpiper 6 which is a 6birth. However we went larger with wide 8birth and probably will always pick this one now.

The priority check in was delayed by 20 mins as the fridge freezer had broke as we arrived it was on the grass.

We went for a beer while it was swapped out. When we entered there was a sour milk / funky smell to the area around where the fridge freezer was so I presume that was the problem. It disappeared after a day or two

The van gets good sun all day and has ampule grass around

The lounge is carpeted and had a big sofa. The tv is good quality and good size. DVD player inbuilt to tv. Storage under tv. Could do with WiFi in each caravan for fire stick etc

The lounge sofa has pull out double bed. Didn’t try that out but the wooden board that supports the cushion needed to be stronger and bigger. It didn’t quite catch the wooden frame so everyone anyone sat on it it was sink.

The kitchen has limited worktop space but I’m used to that at home. So was ok. Mircrowave and good gas oven. Lots of crockery and glassware and cutlery. Good pans and dish selection.
The fridge freezer was a good size for a quick replacement. Had the square box type freezer and almost full size fridge.

NB: Take ur favourite chopping knife with you

The hallway and kitchen are laminate.

Bathroom has good Sized shower and over sink cabinet. And WC

The first twin room is a good size. Has a wardrobe and little cupboard.

Second twin is skinny. Crab walking is necessary as the gap between beds is less than 15cm approx. Was fine for a single person like we had. Used other bed for clothes etc.

The hall cupboard has boiler and coat hooks. Had the clothes maiden thing in there too.

Stated on listing meant to have an iron and ironing board and didn’t. Quick call to reception and it was brought over.

The double bedroom has dressing table with hairdryer and en suite (sink and Wc)
Good storage and big wardrobe. Hangers provided. Extra bedding included in this cupboard.

Beds where comfy and clean.

Ampule plug sockets everywhere and some had usb charger points which was great.

Used the laundrette as was £9 for two loads of washing and one dry load.

The park was quite however the one complaint /moan I would say is the tractor and sewage machine was annoying and the dull noise it made was constant everyday and was only 5-6 caravans up. I don’t know if there was a problem with it because I have never known them come so often and for aslong. As the other caravan was only three caravans back from this one so would have noticed before

The arcade was a highlight as always with big kids. 2p machines LOOOVVVEE

The pool was clean but quite chilly. Was few weeks before when my friend and her small baby went. Baby cried as it was too cold. The sauna was closed due to covid and so where the changing rooms. So had to go in swimming attire and leave in swimming attire. No bother for us but if it was the staff would open the changing room specifically for your request.

The no contact check in was good

Overall had a lovely stay and will be booking that caravan again.
