Regent Bay was ideal to visit Morecambe and the surrounding area. We were allocated a caravan that seemed very cold as the heating system needed looking at. When I reported the fact the lady in reception offered us another caravan which was beautiful. warm and cosy and clean. It was lovely to stay there even though the weather was inclement.

The park is ugly. It is like putting a load of caravans in an industrial estate with nothing that resembles an image of a fun or relaxing holiday. The location does not resemble a holiday unless you normally holiday on a council estate. However, some of the facilities offered were good. The reception area is unwelcoming with pop up desks and bad lighting. The shop offers very little in even the general necessities. Empty shelves yet a good space where you should be generating additional income.(if stocked well, quite a good additional income). The bar and entertainment areas are a fantastic addition to the park. The bar is spacious and bright offering good value food and drinks and offers. The entertainment area being separate is great to cater for family fun away from diners or those wanting to have a chat with others. The access to the beer garden through a fire door is not well planned as it gets congestion in that area and quite often closed behind people resulting in them getting locked out. There are no covered areas for shade or protection from rain. The outdoor park is pathetic. Kids on a family holiday need more space and equipment. The arcade area is great with a good selection of entertainment games. However for those with more than two children can be a strain on their holiday finances. (If there were better outdoors facilities for children to be entertained in better weather would definitely make for a better family holiday) the location off the entrance road is very unattractive and not well placed. The pool facilities (although small) are a good addition. There are no seating areas for parents to supervise or for relaxation around the pool. Could be better. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the caravan was although bland clean. Many of the expected kitchen utensils were missing. Only odd wine glasses which are not child friendly. No trays for the oven to list a few. The shop could have a supply of basic welcome boxes to purchase with kitchen basics such as dish cloth, washing liquid and tea towel. I hope this reflects the positives that this park offers and gives help in making any changes that would benefit the business and the holiday maker.
