1. Ruda Holiday Park, North Devon

Situated just a short drive from Ocean Edge Holiday Park is the beautiful Morecambe Bay. As the second largest bay in Britain, its sandy shores cover a staggering 120 square miles at low tide and are home to some spectacular wildlife. We couldn’t have a beachside holiday park guide without including sunny Scarborough on Yorkshire’s magnificent coastline, just a short drive from Cayton Bay Holiday Park. While Scarborough Beach offers plenty of classic seaside fare and attractions, from donkey rides to boat trips and amusements, the area’s real hidden gem is just a short stroll from Cayton Bay Holiday Park. 4. Nairn Lochloy Holiday Park, Near Inverness

When it comes to beachside holiday parks, the beach doesn’t get much closer than Nairn, on Scotland’s north coast - at the foot of the beautiful Highlands. With Nairn Lochloy Holiday Park located directly behind the dunes of Nairn’s East Beach, you’re just steps from having your toes in the sand and enjoying the breathtaking views across the Moray Firth to the Black Isles.
