Great location, and clean well run pools and activities. Park affected by Covid during our visit so can't really comment on restaurant or bar facilities, but seemed good. Great access to beach. Caravans and camping a bit cramped on site, but the park has everything you need, Particulary impressed by pool staff and organisation despite being short staffed due to Covid.

The caravan itself was satisfactory apart from stepping on someones toenail that had been left on the living room carpet.

During our stay there was 3 power cuts, 2 that happened the 1st night we were there. The electric was off for some time, which isn't great when you have an elderly lady that has dementia and relies on a walker to get around. Trying to use a phone torch to get her to the toilet was challenging. Plus having her waking up in the dark not knowing where she is and with no light to help her was not ideal. (This was due to the second powercut around 1.30am ish)

The 3rd power cut was on our departure day, at 7am till about 8am which again not great when you are trying to get showered with no hot water, no heating. Trying to get everything sorted and ready to leave for 10am was a push.

The restaurant was ridiculous.
The 1st night we ordered food and everything we wanted was available.
Apart from a couple of items not turning up, which was soon corrected.
The next evening a particular burger wasn't available. We were told its because they are running on a reduced menu, however what we wanted was on this menu. We were then told its out of stock. We ordered a meal that we had the previous night, we were given the option to add peas to it for free, however the previous night we had to pay extra for it. So I think more training with what is included in the meals is needed.

The next day we had lunch there, we tired to order children's pizza as they do not do a kids lunch menu. They had no pizza, not even adult ones. They then stopped doing food after our order, so the people behind us were very annoyed.

That evening we went to the children's entertainment and thought we would get food to our table there. To be told they aren't doing any orders. So we had to go to the little shop to find something from there.

On our final day there, we get a text message at 12.05pm saying no food orders are being taken at the restaurant.

The whole experience was very disappointing. If we had known about staff shortages or food shortages we would have brought evening meals from the shop and cooked ourselves.

Now as for the entertainment, there use to be timetables with what is on during the week. That is all gone and now you have to log on and book slots that cost extra. Having no signal, you can't log on to book. Again if we had known about this we would have pre booked before leaving.
The signal on the TV in the caravan was rubbish, couldn't watch it.

Now even though some of these issues seem small, when you are paying alot of money (even more now due to price increases) to get half of what you should...is ridiculous. The prices are going up yet the quality, availability and what you get is going down.

We had numerous power cuts throughout our one week stay. At one point was sitting in the dark having to use our phones for light.
The gas hadn't been changed before we got there and ran out leaving us with no hot water or oven. We visited reception and was told it would be dealt with within half an hour, this was not dealt with within the time frame. Reception had closed and we were left having to wait with 3 very hungry children.
We paid for wifi and that kept dropping connection, so found it hard to book activities.
The Boathouse's limited menu was so limited that there was no choice. The evening menu started at 5pm, we placed our order at 5:15pm and at that point they had ran out of nearly everything.
There was barely any seats in the showbar and the starline shop was shut for over half of our stay much to the disapointment of the kids. My partner has been coming to Kessingland Beach for years, hasn't been for the last 2 and was very disapointed about how much it has gone down hill. Overall we were very disapointed with our holiday this year.
