Weston super MareGB
I've been to park resorts at same time of year but different resort and we loved it, however entertainment was very lapse and quite poor, the chip shop was closed most of time, the menu in restaurant was great apart from not having most of it available we didn't eat a pudding throughout whole stay as wasn't much available, the arcade assistant was hard to pin down, the nisa shop was practically bare and was rubbish opening times, the security staff for complex had awful language and discussing other members that had stayed and we're back on site and were using absolutely disgusting language, they didn't even try to hide it, so we will not be returning!

We had a lovely weekend. My partner has wanted to try out the fishing for ages, so we booked a weekend to have a look. The Porth caravan was warm and cosy and well equipped and it was a nice touch that someone popped round to check that everything was Ok. We were not far from all the facilities and the breakfasts in the First Bite Cafe were lovely, especially the Eggs Benedict. A nice view across one of the lakes, even on a rainy day and very friendly staff. The staff in the tackle shop were also friendly and very knowledgable. There was a fishing festival on, so there weren't many people in The Lakeside Club, but Leanne and Nicole deserve a special mention for keeping us entertained especially during the musical bingo, as does Gary the doorman. The band Hot Pinch were good too as was Kelly Jo (?) on Friday, not much audience for both but they involved us few! I went swimming in the pool which could do with a little facelift, but it was nice and warm and I liked the Spa Bath. The Sunday dinner was good and reasonably priced as was the on site shop. The food menus weren't as extensive as they advertise on the internet but that maybe because it is out of season. Overall it was fab and we will be back!
