Welcome to your island retreat

When you really want to get away from it all, Coopers Beach Holiday Park on Mersea Island is the place to be. As soon as you approach, via the causeway, you know it’s going to be a holiday to remember.

Nature lovers and beach enthusiasts will both be in their element here. Enjoy traditional seaside activities such as crabbing, or take a walk to see views of the Blackwater Estuary and spot the migrating birds. With direct beach access from the park, we also have a boat launching facility for those who want to take to the seas. Our fabulous new Boathouse bar and restaurant has great views over the estuary.

Choose from a range of fully equipped accommodation for your caravan holiday on Mersea Island or become an owner to enjoy this island paradise all year round.

Please note: the main road to the island is covered with water at least once a day during high tide for an hour. Tide timetables are included in your welcome packs and are available at reception.

Hi Claire,

Thanks for taking the time to provide us with your post-holiday review.

As we head towards the end of the season, we offer more laid-back entertainment.

We're sorry you experienced cleanliness issues, and hope you managed to raise your concerns with a member of the team during your stay, they would have welcomed the opportunity to address these issues.

Park and accommodate was fabulous but pool and lifeguard let it down making us wait 15/20 late opening every day over the weekend.

We had a lovely stay in a part of the country which was new to us. I would very much recommend this holiday park to anyone wanting a quiet break. The staff in the restaurant and shop were friendly and welcoming and whilst there were some issues with cleanliness if this was address the accommodation would be perfect.
