We enjoyed our stay very much although we should have been warned in advance about the mud as we were not adequately prepared for it and as a consequence had to buy protective footwear to avoid ruining our shoes/boots. I know that recent adverse weather conditions exacerbated the problem but it is obvious that living in a country which has a lot of rainfall necessitates adequate paths/parking areas to combat the muddy conditions we had to put up with.
