There is very little to do in the immediate area if you do not have transport. There is a bus run to Blythe and Ashington and surrounding areas but they only run hourly and you have to indicate you want to get on as despite waiting for an hour at the bus stop on a route that only one bus serves the bus drove past us and left us waiting for the next one! The beach is just down the road which allows dogs. There is a lovely tearoom/ice-cream parlour next to the beach. There is very little to see an do unless you walk/hike/have a dog or enjoy the beach.

Beautiful location, near the beach. Nice park with friendly people. Facilities were more than ample for the busyness of the resort on the week we went, in fact it was surprisingly quiet. Will defo stay here again when up visiting family in the near future (although possibly not during the 6 week Summer holidays as I bet it's v.busy!).
