We booked through The Sun Holidays and assumed we would get a basic caravan however, we couldnt open the wardobe as the bed was to close, the cooker was in pretty bad shape and we didnt have very much to lool at other than other caravans so we phoned the reception as we were also missing a travel cot, and asked about an upgrade and if this was possible. Donna sourced us an upgrade and we paid a small fee, less than we expected, but we got some bang for our buck! The upgrade was a beautiful spacious caravan, with a large veranda, ensuite toilet and a bath with great kitchen and appliances and a gorgeous view of fields, St Mary's Lighthouse and the sea. Staff were extremely helpful. Onsite shop was more like a corner shop with only basic needs met however Aldi is only a 10min drive away.
Great weekend stay and would stay again.

Was disappointed that the entertainment was cancelled for the Sunday night as it wasnt busy enough as booked June instead of may this year to avoid this. Also enquired about the money off if you book for next year. Was quoted a price from reception for similar weekend and caravan. Looked online and the price online is far cheaper for same details so not sure how that works. You save money buying a pitcher....unless its Carling black fruits??. Due to the weather we were in the caravan a lot which was fine as the caravan was lovely. Entertainment on the Saturday night was not appropriate for children so maybe a little warning before it started would have been good.

Caravan was lovely and clean. The park swimming pool a bit on small side so we wasn't in long as it was crowded.Only down fall is no parking allowed outside caravans, can only park in the car parks which can be a nightmare ended up having to park 10 minute walk from caravan. Maybe the park could look into providing parking next to caravans.
