We had a lovely relaxing half term break at Whitley Bay. The beach is a short walk as is the lighthouse. Facilities were great we appreciated the central heating in the cold weather and the caravan was spacious.

Staff were Friendly and fantastic and made sure everyone was kept safe especially in the hard situation with the pandemic. We saw some people being very rude to staff and the staff were still pleasant to these people. The entertainment staff kept everyone entertained and the swimming pool staff were amazing too. They made our holiday.

We had a lovely time despite restrictions due to covid. The park had went to great lengths to ensure safety, our caravan was spotless, hand sanitiser everywhere, even next to every arcade game. One way system, masks, the works. We felt very reassured. Staff were so nice and went above and beyond to help. So very friendly and genuine. Food was really nice we ate breakfast at the restaurant every day. We live locally and were using a voucher from a cancelled holiday during lockdown but would go here again happily. The kids playground was great, plenty for our youngest to do. Swimming pool was small but my youngest enjoyed it, take a ball or inflatable as theres no slides. Two pieces of advice, get the best wifi package, it's about £13 a week I believe, as the wifi on site is not the best of you're running several devices. Also the beds really really need mattress toppers or replaced as they're a bit dated and marked. We mentioned this to the lady who did a courtesy call in the morning of the second day and she immediately brought quilts to put under our sheets and wrote the feedback down to chase up. We slept well, even the fold out sofa bed was comfy. Ours was 34 cedar view, and we would visit again happily. Another point, the oven is small inside so a family of 5 of us did struggle to fit our full meal in. Brilliant microwave though, and full size fridge freezer. Would recommend happily as the minor complaints were no big deal. Even the arcade was reasonably priced and we didn't feel price gouged. Left a thank you message for the cleaning ladies as we saw them walking around with a ton of cleaning supplies just before we left. Even though we live just 20 mins away I'm looking at prices for next year as we really did enjoy it.
