Kids had a great time - lovely staff and clean accommodation and areas kept clean but has the potential to be fantastic if swimming pool and entertainment area revamped a little bit

i booked the gold caravan in 2016 for this year , the caravan was clean slightly aged , worn carpets and sofa , en suite shower needed re sealing a small job for someone everything within the caravan worked and had no issues with where it was situated , we used the facilities on site , slightly aged carpets in the arcades area , expensive in the boathouse but quieter than the main hall , i had two teenagers and a 9 yr old boy and all were kept busy by the activities on site , pool was sometimes overcrowded and not enough changing rooms or toilets to cater for the crowds , all staff were helpful until our car battery decided to play upon the last day and we needed a mechanic no staff could point us in the direction of a garage or give a number , luckily an owner came to our rescue , maybe reception staff could keep details of local mechanics / garages in the reception area , overall ty mwar is a good site just needs a bit of TLC and maybe more activities throughout the day for older children as most activities are based around under 10s . grass areas are cut EVERYDAY ! really not needed ,maybe twice a week would be sufficient , very bad for hayfever sufferers !, the local area is great towyn , rhyl are all local , bus services are frequent and on entrance to the site , nearest train station is abergele /pensarn only 2 mins away . great location for exploring north wales .

Would definitely recommend & return.
Had a great time and facilities were clean and modern.
Only downside is that activities get busy and you need to book in advance. Also there are some extra charges for some but understandable really.

The only thing that let this holiday park down was the cleanliness. It was shocking how dirty it was.
The toilets were awful, you could smell them as you walked past.
The swimming pool was very dirty too, we only used it once.
