The holiday park itself is really well maintained and we had a lovely caravan which was well equipped - could not complain at all about that..... here’s the but... We ate in the restaurant and the food is not so good. It’s ok if you don’t mind everything being deep fried. There was also a toilet smell anywhere near the toilets - I am glad I was sitting there for dinner. The arcade for the children just encourages them to be little gamblers. I stopped my son going after I realised what was happening (but that’s a Parkdean thing not just Tummel Valley). The machine he was putting money into you could win tickets and change the tickets for prizes. After spending £2 in the machine, he returned proudly with the tickets he had won. I went with him to spend them. With his ticket haul he was able to trade them in for 2 Moams which I think would cost around 5-10p. Exciting playing these games for children but in reality just gambling practice for small people. I don’t like stopping people having fun but that’s not on for my kids but everyone is different.

I do want to finish the review on a high because the entertainment block is only a small part of the complex. The shop is fabulous and the pool is great, if you do want to take the family swimming book as soon as you get there because the pool seems to get booked up a day in advance. The surrounding area is beautiful and there is lots to do with the kids. Mine are 7 and 9 and they loved the Crannog in Kenmore and Highland Safaris, there is a small bike track where you can hire a bike to go round and you can also pan for gold and see some deer.

All in all a great weekend with the family.

Our family had a lovely time, alot quieter than some holiday caravans we have been to, but was perfect for us. Only down side was to book swimming, as we were planning on going swimming alot. But only managed once. But I understand why due to the size of pool.

We had an amazing time. Location was perfect, very peaceful. Food and drink was very reasonably priced with a good selection for adults and children. The two things that's that might put us off returning was the weather. If it's cold there are limited indoor facilities and the arrangements for the swimming pool. It didn't bother us having to book a slot but the slots are only 45 minutes and everyone had to leave the pool at the same time and there weren't enough facilities.

We had a lovely time enjoying the peace and quiet. We only used the shop and take away so can't really comment on the facilities
